This campaign started only a few days ago, March 15th, by Casey Neistat, You Tuber, Ben Stiller, actor, Colin Kaepernick, American football quarterback, Juanpa Zarita, YouTuber, Jerome Jarre, entrepreneur and Social Media Star via social media. Their campaign was an effort to get Turkish Airlines to fly food to Somalia in an effort to prevent catastrophe from famine. Turkish Airlines was chosen because they are the only major airline that flies to Somalia that could accommodate sending such large shipments and on March 16th they agreed!! They have already surpassed their goal of $2 million but you can still contribute!
